In the beginning...

Since inception in 2004, the Remnant has ministered to over 4,000 youth in Prince George's County, Maryland. This incredible ministry began so that students and young people can relate to God, reach their friends, have real family and become relentless followers of Jesus Christ. The Remnant stands for Radical wholehearted Christianity, Encouraging and winning attitudes, Meaningful family relationships, Non-negotiable integrity, Aggressive commitment to prayer, Never ending vision an Tons of fun! The Remnant is truly a place of excitement, relevance, servant hood, community, worship, discipleship and evangelism.

As a new member of Zion church, I was eager to begin to serve my community. What began as a semester long photo documentary project has resulted in a life-changing experience!
